ระยะเวลาการทำงาน SPD ที่รวดเร็วและทำให้ Load ปลอดภัยหรือไม่ ?

คำถามจากลูกค้า : ช่วงการเกิด surge เอาตัว SPD ไปต่อ ขนาน เท่ากับว่าแรงดัน ตกคร่อมขณะนั้น เท่ากันหมด (แรงดันสูง 1000-6000 volt) แม้ว่ากระแสส่วนใหญ่จะไหลไปทาง SPD แต่แรงดันในวงจรขนานมันเท่ากันหมด ดังนั้น แรงดันที่ตกคร่อม โหลดกับแหล่งจ่ายไฟ ก็น่าจะเท่ากัน คำถามคือ โหลดกับแหล่งจ่าย จะทนแรงดันตรงนี้ได้มั้ยครับ เข้าใจว่าแรงดันจะลดลงเนื่อง transient ไม่ได้ลดลงเนื่องจาก SPD คำตอบ : ระยะเวลาในการเกิด surge จะมีระยะเวลาเศษหนึ่งส่วนล้านของวินาที และตัว SPD มี response time ที่รวดเร็วมากคือน้อยกว่า 25 nSec. มีค่าแรงดันปล่อยผ่านไปยัง load น้อยกว่า 1.5 kv ซึ่งโหลดโดยส่วนใหญ่จะยังคงปลอดภัยครับ
